Zach Perecman is a passionate and relentless personal injury lawyer at The Perecman Firm, originally founded by his father, David Perecman, over four decades ago. Zach initially pursued a career in music, but his trajectory shifted when he joined the firm as a paralegal. Watching his dad fight for clients facing life-altering injuries changed everything. Zach was inspired by the profound impact that personal injury law can have, restoring dignity and security to those dealing with hardship. It wasn’t long before he knew he wanted to make this work his life’s calling.

Known for his meticulous approach and “leave-no-stone-unturned” style, Zach has secured numerous multimillion-dollar recoveries for his clients, including a recent $19 million settlement for a client who suffered catastrophic injuries in a construction accident. His legal work has tackled complex, high-stakes cases, such as $4 million wrongful imprisonment settlement he helped secure for a woman wrongfully accused of murder, after successfully convincing the New York Court of Appeals to overturn a lower court’s decision. Another career highlight includes a $5 million settlement following a unanimous jury verdict he and his father secured in a premises liability case.

Zach earned his B.S. in Business Management from the University of Miami, followed by a magna cum laude J.D. from New York Law School, where he focused on social justice and served as a John Marshall Harlan Scholar and a Law Review editor. Since joining the firm, he has taken on nearly every role—from file clerk and paralegal to attorney—which has provided him with an exceptional understanding of the firm’s inner workings and the teamwork that drives its success. Today, Zach is also actively involved in the management and marketing of The Perecman Firm, ensuring its values, vision, and client-centered mission remain at the core of everything they do.

Outside of work, Zach is a devoted husband and father. A lifelong music enthusiast and dedicated Phish fan, he enjoys playing guitar, running, and weightlifting.
